I will just tell you a story on who are my friends are...

let me start alphabetically.

IDA DENIZE IGLOPAS ASEO

Who is she ? she's the techie one in our group together with kat. Also, she is one of the makulits. She's so mabait and very kind to all of us. For me I am more close to her because I met her first. When you are having a hard time with your computer just call IDA and she will tell you what to do.

Also, she is the number one cook in their family. I admire her for being a good daughter to her parents and she is really taking good care of them. She is my eldest daughter with our akoMagana family...love lots IDANG

MA. KATRINA REVLORA AVILA

Avilab..kats...bing...at marami pang iba...yan ang mga tawag kay kat. She is also one of the techie in akoMagana. She is the food source. Also, she is super mabait and very mapagbigay especially with her Jack n Jill foods. Very magalang to her parents and a very good sister to her ate hannah. She is so kind to me. As far as I can remember she started the MAMA AI. Now most of our classmate call me like that.

Kat is also a very good in singing..our singer..basta she is super mabait to all of us...

ANGELICA MORILLA BEO

Our Bei and anjie in the group. Ang batang maliit pero ang boses is like a mega phone. She is also smart but sometimes tamad...hehe..pero mataas pa rin mga grade...She is one of the super kulits and likes to kurot us and make sandal to us whenever you are sitting beside her.

She also likes to eat matatamis. She is my uwian jeepneymate we are always going home together with Anne. Makulit na ate to her sister Coleng and brother Pacoy. Of course she is the number one late whenever we had meeting. Super mabait din yan si Bei like other of my barkada.

oh it's me na pala..AILYN VILLANUEVA DELA CRUZ aka MAMA AI...I will not talk about me coz it's my blog anyways.hehe

ANISAH MARIE DELA PENA JUNIO

our nitah and our cosplayer. She is also super kind to us. We always went to their house to make videos and celebrate birthdays. She is tahimik at times minsan lang..hehe..She is our talented sketcher... Her drawings are all very beautiful. She is also a very good ate to her brother arvin and she is the anak of a hardware owner ang pangalan ng store nila ay Lakas Bisig Hardware..

She is also smart and gets good grades. her favorite color is pink and marami siyang pink ballpen. Mahilig din yang kumain most of the time we eat together before our rizal class.at mahilig yan magbigay ng chocolates..super mabait yan..nitah..nitah..nitah..

ANGELINE MERZA

We call her anne but most of the time merz or merza. She is known for always bringing very cold water. Sabi nga nila thirst-quencher daw siya. she is new in our group but she is somewhat very close to us. She is very maaasahan if there is something that we have to ask for someone because she is ready to ask anyone even its a teacher or someone...super bait din yan.. she is my uwian jeepneymate with beo. ang babaeng maraming bag...hehe..siya din pala ang apo ng GomBurZa..

RAFONCIL ACABAL SALVORO

Our raf...rafongcil..ang aming bunso..hehe,,pero sa totoo ate namin yan..ate raf.. napakakulit niang si raf..super sarap kasama..pero dati nagkaroon kami ng misunderstanding.pero that's so ok now. She is so jolly and very mabait to everyone. Very friendly to all of our classmate. Her groupmessages is very long and very funny...

Our KITI-KITI....SUPER GOOD IN SINGING AND DANCING..Very talented yang si raf.hehe..she is also a very good daughter and favorite din niya si Tae kyung..yihee...

simple misunderstanding...

Last Monday a simple misunderstanding came up with our group. It was our last subject that day. We are used to making kulit our friends. That day we all decided to make asar one of our akoMgana so, we get her shoes and pretended that we don't have anything to do with that. At first she was just making a ride on the said incident but suddenly she got silent and make a sad face. It was really scary because she even cried so we thought we did it to the limit. That day she never wait for us that dismissal she went home by herself. Someone told me that she she cried well I honestly saw it when were seated in the classroom.

It was a really sad day for all of us. At home I was thinking that we just make asar and it was so small thing that will never make anyone cry. The next day is my birthday so we thought that she will be mad for once. And definitely she was still mad but she spoke to me and that makes me feel happy because it was really hard having someone that is bothered with your presence.

time pass by and we all went home not at peace because she never spoke to some of our akoMagana. It was really frustrating.

The next day finally the anger subside and I realize one thing that it is never good of making fun of someone that is very close to you because there might be a time that you can never know what are their feelings at the moment.

Let us just be happy without hurting any feelings...

I had fun!

I celebrated my birthday with my akoMagana. We had fun that afternoon. We ate pizza and our all time favorite pancit canton. Actually my birthday is Tuesday but our schedule for that day was so busy so we decided to celebrate it on Wednesday after class. We ate together and watch two movies. We rented it on video city. We first watch a mystery movie. it was really scary that we actually screamed out loud. We even attempted to video on how are we going to scream but unfortunately it was not successful so we proceeded watching na lang...after watching the first movie we watch the movie entitled The Fourth kind but it was not so good so we decided to watch the movie Paranormal entity. It was so god that you can not skip a scene according to the movie it was a true to life story it was about the demon that keep bothering the family in the story. After watching it we switch to television show...Our favorite He's Beautiful.. It was really nice watching together because it makes us more bonded.

The most memorable for that day is they made a video for me and raf. It was for our birthday. It was really nice because they really made an effort to give us a special and one of a kind gift. I really love it. Actually I really don't expect that they will make such a video because i thought they are just saying happy birthday and that's all. It was one of the most memmorabel gift I have ever had. It was really something.

Special thanks to IDA, KAT, NISAH....super thank you for the very nice messages and the effort for making the video message. Also, thank you to BEI, RAF and ANNE for being their in my birthday.

I really love all of you. I will never find other people that is like all of you... I love you akoMagana!!!

I did it!

Last Preliminary exam of this semester was also my duty in OR. When I first found out about it I was so shock because how can I review when I was in the hospital having my duty. So, I think for a way that I can review. I reviewed ahead of time. I remember reviewing a week and a half before exam. I did it when I still don't have my duty. I know that I am not the most intelligent student in my class so what I always do is to study and review because without reviewing how can you answer something,well that is my principle. I have done reviewing all my lesson but my number one enemy for that exam week was having NO SLEEP. I have to overcome it no matter what. I remember sleeping just for about 2 hours for the remaining 2 days of examinations. I felt so haggard those days. But, I have to be strong because if I can't overcome it I will risk all my scores to hell. Thank God because for me I did my best. What was in my mind that time was saying you can do it! My mom told me that it was just a simple challenge that can be handled easily.

Well, midterm examination is in 2 weeks time. I will not say unfortunately because that's bad luck. I will say luckily I will have my duty and exam again at the same time. I was planning again to study ahead. I was planning to start studying tomorrow. I am hoping to have good grades again because I can say that I have done well but not great in my last examination. So, I will study harder this time for me to have better grades compared to my last exam. It was another challenge for me.

I know that it would not be easy but I will do my very best in taking my midterm examination. Of course I am hoping to do well in my duty at Surgical ward for my stay there for two weeks time.

time management is the solution for conflicting schedule!

My Bestfriend

Collins is my best friend since 1st year high school. As far as I can remember we've been close around 2nd year high school. We are always asking each other way back high school how our friendship began. It was so weird because we cannot really remember a certain moment that made as closer. Well for me that was not important at all beacuse as long as we are sharing the same views about everything and we are happy together nothing should be asked. She was so mabait to me and to our other friends namely: jas,jan, gehlai and thomas. I remember that every time we had our field trip she was always my seat mate and we share our foods together. I always told her that you have to go to the field trip because I am going. (haha) We shared some interest like our favorite band spongecola. We are together when we first watched the gig of SC at Sta. Lucia Mall that was September 20, 2008. We are really overjoyed with that experience because it was our first time seeing them sing live. Also, we greet each other in our birthdays (as in always walang palya) and most of the time we celebrate it with other friends. I remember when we were in high school she always had celebration at their house and of course I was always present because it was kainan (hehe). I really missed the moments when we are in High school.

We are now leaving our separate ways because we are studying at different school but we keep in touch through facebook and text. She is studying at PUP while I am studying at Fatima. Our schools are so far away so we never had the chance to gala somewhere. I really miss her company. I hope to see her again if we both have time.

The moment we shared are so simple for others but those moments were one of my treasured moments with a good friend and will be remembered forever.

High school friends!

My high school days was about 3 years ago. I have created a lot of friends way back in high school. Many of us said that high school life is the best. Well I should say it was also the best but of course college days was also great. Most of my classmates are always the same since 1st year high school up to 4th year high school. We are all very close to each other maybe because of the long bonding that we have for about 4 years.

Now, we are all apart but we still keep in touch through facebook and text. I can say that I really miss high school days because it was so different from now. Our section was really close to each other. I remember being with them every time we had practice for play or dance presentation.

Every moment was all very memorable. We had this line "United we stand Divided we Fall."We make this line into life when we competed to a certain competition that we all wanted to win. Also, one memorable thing was when we created a movie for our values class. I only had a little role but I saw the beauty of the film and all our hard work.

I remember during graduation, most of us cried because the days of being together of almost everyday will be ended because we are all entering college and will have different schools and paths to take. I know that I have found new friends here in college but I will never forget the days I spent with my high school friend. The great days I spent with all of them are all the iyakan, tawanan at kalokohan.

I hope to see all of them very soon. I miss you all RIZAL '08...Love you guys..

More than just a literary poem

Let me share you this poem I wrote March 6, 2006. I was in my second year high school that time. Well the poem is about my parents and the things I am hoping to give them someday. So, just please read it and hope to share the same view with all of you!

Higit sa isang munting tula

Hirap at saya ang siyang naramdaman

Di kailanman inalintana ang sakripisyong pasan-pasan

Dugo't pawis ang inalay mabigyan lamang ng kaginhawaan

Di maitatatwa ang pagmamahal na kailanman di mapapantayan

Ama, Ina kayo ang aking buhay!

Bawat tagumpay ko'y sa inyo lamang iaalay

Nais kong suklian ng pagmamahal ang lahat ng inyong ibinigay

What makes us different?

This topic about being a nursing student was very common but for me it is very meaningful because this is how my life today. I should say that a lot of students wanted to be a nurse someday, there are a lot of challenges that we will be taking in order to get our RN license. The first step is to study hard and be the best student nurse that you can be. Being a student is very tough because it is not like any other course that you will just do your task with a non-living thing. I think when we are in the hospital we should act like a registered nurse because we are handling human beings.

Let me tell you how our experiences differ from others. Our hospital duty started when we are in 2nd year nursing. Everything was very different when we first found out that we will be having our hospital duty. We have mixed emotions of being excited and scared. My hospital duty was so memorable. We did our vital signs to a real patient, although it was just getting of the vital signs I was so nervous because I don't want to make any mistake because there are no room for error when you are in the hospital. For all of our duty we need to accomplished some requirements like NCP, case study, drug study etc. It was so hard but it will add a lot of knowledge for us beginners. Nursing is very different because unlike any other course they just do their OJT when they are in 4th year college but for us we are doing it at the most earliest time. Also, as a student nurse we have experienced having duty and exam week at the same time. I think the rationale for this is for us to be comfortable with the routine of being a nurse so we can be the best that we can be in the future. I am not against with other courses but I am just telling this because I am proud of the craft I am molding now. Everyday is a challenge in the hospital duty because we are there to render care , to gain knowledge and to have experiences.

I am now in 3rd year college, there are a lot of steps to be take. Graduation is not the last step for us nursing student because we still need to take the board exam and to get our license and most especially we have to work hard as a registered nurse. Getting your license does not mean that it is game over because learning is a part of being a nurse.

I hope to be successful in my chosen craft. With this I am not just helping my family financially but I am being a part of those who need care. Nursing is not just for money because it is a very personal job that you are touching every person's life. Those sleepless nights and waking up 3 am in the morning is just a normal thing of being a student nurse I think that sums up how we are different with other students.

Let us all be the best student nurse that we can be! And, in two years time be the best registered nurse...

Friends in school, Friends in life

College life is tough. You have to be good with every thing that you do because it is the life that you will continue in the future. Everyone needs a companion or a friend. Having true friends is one of the treasures I am holding on right now. My friends are being treasured as part of my family. I am with them almost everyday of my life. We call our barkada "Team Magana". Well, it all started during our hospital duties because we really love to eat. Every time we have our break we are eating together like we are just having fun. I am thinking how does this friendship make it?

Our "Team Magana" is composed of 8 members, namely: myself -Ailyn, Ida, Kat, Beo, Nisah, Raf, Lani and Anne. I met Ida, Kat and Beo when we became classmate in 2nd semester of 2nd year Nursing College. Nisah and Raf were my classmate summer of 2nd year. I don't actually know them for the whole summer class. At that time, I am with my other friends way back 1st year. When 2nd year 1st semester came in we need to have our own group for duty. At first we are just four in our group so we decided to find other members. That was the time my friendship started with them. On the other hand, I met Lani that same year but she was just a transferee back then, so we are not that close at that time. With Anne she was my classmate since 1st year 1st semester, we both have different groups so, she was just one of my classmate but eventually I became close to her last summer.

I must say that we all have different personalities but we all get along. Its been almost 2 years that we know each other. Although we are not group mates during hospital duties , this time we have at least three school lecture days together in the campus. I am grateful when one of them will be absent and they will inform me, it was just a simple gesture but it is very important to me because I feel that I am also important to them. When it comes to "barkadas" there are some rough times. Sometimes we have some little misunderstanding but we eventually resolved it immediately. We can never avoid it but we just have to understand it.

I love my friends as I love my family. My family know very well my friends because I often tell stories to them. My mom told me one time that she liked my friends because she thought that we all have the same views in life that we all have our dreams. I remember in one instance when we were assigned in a duty for that month that I told them that we are seeing each other almost 24/7 because we are always together from morning till midnight. I really miss those moments.

My friends usually call me "Mama Ai"because they think that I am their mother because I am always reminding them with different things about school works. I am glad with that "alias" because I feel respected ,although most of the time they make fun of me especially when I am serious at school.

I hope to be with them until 4th year College and until opportunities will permit because I have made myself comfortable with their company. One of our dreams is to work together in a hospital. I hope to be seeing ourselves in one hospital picking the pieces of our dreams and goals. I wish that we will all be successful with our chosen craft to be a hospital nurse.

Life of being a big sister

I am 18 years old, a student, a daughter and a proud big sister or in tagalog "Ate" to my brother and sister. How can I define being a big sister? I have a lot in my mind to describe it. When I was small I thought that being an "Ate" was just a playmate to my brother and sister. I was just so innocent of how my responsibilities are big. As time goes by questions are being answered on what are my roles in my family. I started understanding it when I was in Grade 6 because at that time we don't have a maid anymore so, when my parents are busy I need to be responsible with the house and my brother and sister. At first, I was confused why I should be responsible for that matter because for me I was just so small to handle things. I have realized that I should be a role model to them.

Being a big sister I need to undergo a certain development of being a person. At first, your just a playmate. Then, eventually your the homework teacher and their best friend. When you have finally grown into a lady you're acting as the "little mother" for your brother and sister. I have experienced doing their homework, prepare them to school and to have a heart to heart talk about the things they wanted. Maybe I have grown to this kind of environment because of the love of my parents and because they thought me the value of family. Of course, relationship normally undergo trial we can never avoid but we can understand it. Most of the time the number one argument would be jealousy among them. I admit that I once felt it because I thought I was taken for granted. But, I have already surpassed that stage in my life because that things was so childish to feel.

"Ate" is not just a word, you'll have to make it to life. I love my brother and sister more than anyone else in this world. I would never exchanged anyone for them. I want to tell everyone that we should love our brothers and sisters because we will never know of how long we will be together. As, for me my brother has a heart condition so, I am cherishing all the moment with him and my sister. I want you all to hug your brothers and sister and tell them you LOVE them.

Of course, this is not just for the "Ate" out there also I am sharing the same thing to all big brothers or "kuya" out there. Let's love each other. Share the Love! mwahh
